In order to access statutory online personalised assessments, all learners in state schools in Wales have a Hwb account.
Hwb also offers educational tools, such as Microsoft Office, Just2easy, G Suite for Education, Flipgrid and Minecraft: Education Edition, which are known as Hwb Additional Services. Consent is required to give learners access to these tools in school and at home.
Your child’s school may provide you with a consent form for Hwb Additional Services.
Consent also allows learners to download FREE Microsoft Office and Minecraft apps on their personal devices at home.
The short video below explains more about these Hwb Additional Services and the consent process.
