Each day I will continue to post some work for us all to have a go at, mostly English and Maths and 2 challenges to try throughout the week. Spelling words

Please put these words into sentences, using correct punctuation (capital letters to start a sentence, for names and places etc full stops, ask questions using a question mark ? you could use speech marks with ‘’ …’’ said ____ )

Group 1-  short sport horse stair chair air

Group 2-  bug club tub cub rub sub

Group  3-  hear dear fear hear year ear

Group 4- sadly simply gently badly finally wisely

Group 5- natural occasional accidental national personal medical

 (Remember to learn the words for a test at home on Friday)



This week we are going to be looking at weights and measures. We are beginning by looking at kg (kilograms) and g (grams)

 There are 1000g in 1 kg

½ kg =500g

¼ kg = 250g
