I have also added a few red words. These are tricky words which you cannot sound out and blend. They are words you have to learn to read and spell.

Maths
Try making your own weighing scales using a coat hanger. Gather toys from around your home and guess which you think will be the heaviest / lightest. Did you guess right?
Topic
Draw, paint or chalk a whale. Make it as big as possible.
Discuss together what you think a whale looks, feels, smells, sounds like. Write all these words around the whale.
Parents. You could write these words for your child or you could write them together. Ask your child to tell you the initial letter sound to begin, then try sounding the word together. E.g. b i g sounds big.
