Can you make up a sentence for each of your words?
Function machines are machines that do a special job. Each machine has a special rule it follows. The machines for today all double. So any number that goes in gets doubled and then comes out. Look at the examples below and double your money!

Your topic work for the next three days (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday) is to create a shoebox of artefacts about Tenby. You need to research, brainstorm and make a list of things you would see in Tenby and think of things you could make to represent these. You then need to use junk to model and make these artefacts, in order to put together a collection of artefacts in a box.
The actual box itself isn't important, it is the artefacts that are of interest. Please do not worry if you do not have a box. Here are some examples.....
