Learn the sound, practise blending the word.
Remember if you need to reinforce last weeks sounds please continue with those.
I have also added a few red words. These are tricky words which you cannot sound out and blend. They are words you have to learn to read and spell.

Continue to practise these red words. If your child is confident reading these words please let me know.
Don't forget to access Oxford Owl.
Maths
Using magazines or catalogues cut out pictures of objects and sort them into heavy and light. Divide a page into two and write heavy/light at the top. Have fun sticking them under the correct heading.
Discuss with your child that not all big objects are heavy and not all small objects are light. E.g. an inflated balloon is bigger than a tin of beans but would weigh lighter.
Topic
Read the story, "The snail and the Whale" by Julia Donaldson.
Draw four things the snail sees on his travels with the whale. You could also try labelling your pictures.
