This term we will be working on Health and Wellbeing
and Expressive arts.
Croeso i Dosbarth Afal! Welcome to our spring term. This term we will beigin with working on Health and Wellbeing. We will also be working on Expressive Arts with music, dance and drama as our focus.
Working alongside me (Mrs Thomas) this term will be Miss Comben, Mrs Collier And Mrs Hutchison. If you have any questions or need to get in touch about anything, please feel free to pop into class or contact me via Seesaw.
Water Bottles
Pupils may bring a water bottle to school and keep this with them to stay hydrated throughout the day. We will refill water bottles when needed.
Snack time
We encourage a healthy snack if possible.
Reading
Please continue to support your child with their reading and returning their words/books weekly.
P.E.
P.E. day will be on a Friday, when we will join with Dosbarth Bedwen. Pupils need to wear their P.E. kits to school e.g. shorts/leggings, t-shirt and trainers. Pupils need to remove all jewellery and watches for these sessions and those with long hair need to tie it up. As the weather gets colder, pupils may choose to wear jogging bottoms and a hoodie for P.E.. Please wear P.E. kit to school.
Horse Riding
Children will be attending horse riding sessions on Tuesday mornings. We will travel to Dare Valley Country Park on a private bus. Please ensure children long trousers and have waterproof clothing and wellies, labelled with their names.
Seesaw
Please continue to use Seesaw as a communication tool and help us celebrate the children's achievements throughout the school day.
Autism Awareness Month
We will be celebrating Autism Awareness Month by holding a coffee morning. Details will follow and we hope you can all join us. Please bring family and friends.
